Remembering 100 Years

Along with Queensgate Shopping Centre, Fisherprint TLC helped to mark 100 years since the end of WW1 in Peterborough.

To commemorate 100 years since the end of WW1 this Armistice Day, Fisherprint TLC designed, printed and installed temporary vinyl graphics onto an existing hoarding within the main central space in Queensgate Shopping Centre.

The hoarding graphics were placed in time for the Queensgate Poppy Appeal Launch on 26th October to raise funds for the Royal British Legion.

The launch saw a parade by ex-servicemen and speeches made by the Royal British Legion Peterborough and ended with a release of 10,000 poppies from the ceiling to create an official end to the opening ceremony.

The timeline of graphics offers a unique insight into the servicemen passing through Peterborough during the Great War and acts as a reminder for the men who lost their lives.
